You will find the smallest size (1/2" BSP to 15mm hose tail) to retain the moulding strength requires a slightly larger tail, thus the 15mm. We generally find most 12mm hose when heated will push over the 15mm tail.  All other sizes are traditional ( 1 1/2" BSP to 1 1/2" hose tail.)
