NZ ensign specially sewn for our specifications - they are made from bunting (a fabric that allows a certain amount of air through them rather than polyester.)
Also as in true Marine tradition they have sister clips on each end of the hoist line (yes we have matching swivel clips if required)
As indicated we have made these with proper sewn Union Jack + individual sewn stars - these are not screened onto acrylic cloth.

Red ensigns are normally used on boats & offshore vessels, while Blue ensigns are normally used on land.
