Rubber Exhaust Flaps (4 sizes)

An all rubber hinging flapper designed to hose clamp on an existing exhaust outlet, though we find most fit without the need to put a hose clamp on if conventional imperial size exhaust outlet tube is used.

(actual NZ outside diameter exhaust outlets are only produced in imperial sizes so these rubber flaps are designed to suit outside diameter pipe: 2 1/2," 3", 4", 6")

For those wanting a flap for 50mm (2") it is necessary to use the 63mm version and cut a slit at the bottom on the rubber ring that fits over your exhaust outlet. A hose clamp can then be put around it to hold it on to the exhaust outlet, leaving the rubber lid part of the flap the same size. This means it visually covers the area where you have taken a slit out of the ring.

For those wanting a flap for 125mm (5") it is necessary to use the 150mm version and cut a slit at the bottom on the rubber ring that fits over your exhaust outlet. A hose clamp can then be put around it to hold it on to the exhaust outlet, leaving the rubber lid part of the flap the same size. This means it visually covers the area where you have taken a slit out of the ring.

We have taken a photo of the type of modification that can be made to achieve the 2" or the 5" from a 2 1/2" or 6" respectively, no flap is done for a 2" or 5" without doing this modification.
